Make the choice to be free

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

It may be a heavy load but it’s only a burden if we make it so. When we do it out of love of what we can gain from it or/and what others can gain from it, it will lighten us up and raise our vibrations and so the heavy load would not feel like a burden but instead pleasing.

Overcoming that feeling of “rejection” when relating

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

If we want others to let us be our true selves and allow us to put ourselves first, we too need to allow others to be true to themselves and put themselves first. If we ask of something from another, we owe it to them to take the action that will put themselves first even if it means saying “no” to us. For it is they who are ultimately responsible for their actions regardless of the trigger. If their actions feel like a rejection to you then you’re taking it personally. Direct your love to yourself until you can become balanced again.

Always take control of your feelings

From my eBook: Upgrading Your Life by Joycelyn Marshall

You are to yourself what you feel. If you feel worthy, you are worthy; if you feel that you can achieve it, you will achieve it; if you feel accomplished, you are accomplished. For only you know your true feelings, your true desires, your highest aspirations and what will truly fulfill you. You are therefore the most powerful to always make you feel the best about yourself. Always take control of this as these are the energies that you are transmitting to the Universe.

Examine your underlying intentions before you act

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

There are energies behind our intentions so we need to purify them before we act, before we transmit them so that they can be received at their best.

If we are saying that someone does not deserve what is given to/meant for them with our intentions then we are sending out the energies that we do not deserve what is meant for us. They deserve what is given to/meant for them just as we deserve what is meant for us.

Stop to pat yourself regularly

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

Stop to pat yourself on the back regularly for it is a process.

Stop and love only yourself, regularly, to refuel your energy to give to yourself first and then to others. Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for doing a good job. Remember, things may not happen overnight for it is a process. Also, allow any person close to you to do the same, if they need to, for they too have to refuel to satisfy their needs first so that they can give to you what you want from them. Be good to both you and them.

Getting to understand the world you create for yourself

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

Start observing yourself, your intentions behind your actions. Reflect on what you attract back to you by those intentions behind your actions. Try to do something out of pure, beautiful intentions. If it means purifying your instinctive thoughts before acting, then do so. Reflect on the good that you attract back to you. You can confine this to yourself or you can choose to expand your world by extending pure, beautiful actions to someone else outside of you. Your world and what you attract back to you become larger when you choose to extend it beyond yourself…But first, start with observing yourself so that you can become aware of the current world that you are creating for yourself with your actions.

Life is about winning

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

Life is about winning and winning should be about reaching fulfillment through achieving your highest aspirations. So channel your natural energies and natural abilities into winning. Do not lower your chance of winning by channeling your natural energies into the likes of anger, fear, jealousy, vengeance, greed, desperation or any form of limiting energies.

Things to do to keep your vibrations high

1. Engage regularly in activities that bring you deep soul enjoyment. This will give you the purest and highest highs that can uplift your moods and your sense of worth.

2. Always look to see the lesson or the positive message in any situation that you find yourself.

3. Always make the choice that would put you in your best and highest standing. Ask the question, “what is the best choice of action for me to take now?”, then take that action even if it means pushing through your fears.

4. On a spiritual side, develop a relationship with God or whatever represents the highest, purest source of power for you and get in the habit of asking for his divine guidance and learning how to hear and follow his answers. Then trust and have faith in him for he will always deliver what’s best for you.

5. Develop healthy relationships with others where there is mutual respect of each other.

Stick your head above the confusion

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

We are responsible for our quality of life. We are responsible for what we feel we deserve; every action we make despite the source that triggered that action; our thoughts of ourself and of others.

For only we know whether something is right for us and we would know this through your intuition. So before we act, we need to check with our intuition and if it feels good, then it is right. If we take full responsibility for our actions then we would be inspired to make the choice that would place us in your highest position.

You deserve your highest aspirations

From my eBook: Self-Mastery/True Self-Empowerment by Joycelyn Marshall

For “better” to come to you, you have to release the “old that no longer serves your highest aspirations”.

One of the hardest things to do is to let go of the old. But it becomes easier once you keep telling yourself that you deserve your highest aspirations until you believe it. In a lot of cases, it is about detaching your feelings from the old unhealthy “things” over which you have little control and attaching your feelings to healthier “things” over which you have control, mostly of yourself. In other cases, it is about getting rid of your old, limiting beliefs and seeing things from a healthier perspective that is more in line with your spiritual growth.
