With a degree in Management Science from the London School of Economics in 1982, I spent many years in strategic leadership roles across global institutions—spanning project management, management science, and complex systems—including serving as a Vice President at BNY Mellon, a G-SIB. I held the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential during my corporate career, bringing structure, clarity, and globally recognized credibility to my project/program leadership—before choosing early retirement to follow a deeply soul-guided path. Navigate above the fray rather than being caught up in it—as you may drown in unnecessary stress with issues that are not part of yours to resolve, that may take time and energy away from your true purpose.

For it is only your view of the sun that is blocked by the cumulus clouds, some dark. But the sun is shining as is evident by the illumination that its light created on the surface of the ocean.
So, keep shining your light! It will still make the intended illumination even through the “clouds” of all shapes and sizes that may seem to block your path.

A peaceful coexistence requires everyone involved to respect each other’s differences, boundaries and perceptions.

Looking outward at the common vision—instead of looking inward at each other’s differences—helps us to set aside our individual agenda to fully focus on the shared goals planned together for the partnership.
When any journey together has ended, through you moving up to a higher level of consciousness, a higher awareness requires that you keep that light between you two by parting with them graciously, grieve or be happy—if you have to—and be grateful for what they contributed to your spiritual growth through your “interactions” with them, good or bad.
Feeling like that was a missed opportunity to be your best self: Put yourself on your own pedestal which will allow for missteps. We are all a work in progress and even though we strive to always act from our highest and purest intentions, sometimes we may make a bad judgment call through our fears or pain. Do not let this misstep define you. Do not punish yourself through this by thinking you are “bad” and do not deserve love. Be gentle with yourself as you deserve love more so through this rough moment of your life. Just make sure you come out of this learning from all its consequences and evolve to have a better experience in any future similar situation.
